Payments for Genshin Impact, HSR and ZZZ were disrupted on some platforms — miHoYo restored the payment system
Players who tried to spend on gacha pulls ran into problems.
Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero are available on multiple platforms and storefronts, including the Epic Games Store.
Recently, Epic Games Store users encountered technical issues — many could not complete purchases, and some were unable to log into the games.
miHoYo (HoYoverse) resolved the problems quickly but did not offer compensation (which is sometimes distributed after bug fixes) — several fans expressed disappointment at not receiving free Stellar Jade or Polychromes.
Soon after, Genshin Impact players began facing a similar issue. miHoYo stated that the disruptions were related to Sony’s services:
An error in PlayStation Network services prevented some Travelers from topping up their accounts. Server functionality has been restored and top-up services are available again.
