Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has launched her own production company, And-Her-Sons Productions. Its first undertaking will be a television adaptation of the 1996 futuristic action film Don’t Call Me Baby.
The original movie, drawn from Dark Horse Comics, is set in an alternate United States engulfed by a second civil war. Anderson portrays Barb Wire, a nightclub owner who also works as a mercenary in Steel Harbor — one of the last pockets of freedom in the country. She soon finds herself entangled in a covert government conspiracy involving biological weapons.
The film was widely panned by critics and earned Anderson a Golden Raspberry. Details about the new series remain scarce. Anderson founded the company alongside her sons, Brandon Thomas and Dylan Jagger Lee. Most recently, the actress appeared in the reboot of The Naked Gun.
