The multifaceted American artist and producer Oliver Tree has unveiled a striking new music video for his track, “All You Ever Wanted.” Shot against the dramatic backdrop of the Didgori Battle Monument in Georgia, the visual project captures the singer’s idiosyncratic style.
Reflecting his penchant for dry wit, the artist personally wrote, directed, and produced the project, playfully labeling it an “official unofficial music video.” In a nod to his resourceful creative process, Tree shared on YouTube: “Another zero-budget production, captured at the historic Didgori Battle Monument in the breathtaking nation of Georgia.”
A true multimedia visionary, the California-based performer—who excels as a vocalist, songwriter, rapper, and director—has cemented his place in the global zeitgeist with chart-toppers like “Life Goes On” and “Miss You.” His discography, which includes Ugly Is Beautiful, Cowboy Tears, and Alone in a Crowd, continues to draw a massive international following.
Tree’s affinity for Georgia deepened during his 2024 debut performance in Tbilisi. Expressing his genuine fondness for the region, he shared his excitement with fans on social media, describing the city as one of his favorite global destinations—specifically highlighting the local cuisine. During his visit, he memorably shared footage of himself “soaring” toward Tbilisi’s iconic Mother of Georgia monument while sporting the national flag.
The choice of location for his latest video carries significant cultural weight. The Didgori Battle Monument commemorates the pivotal 1121 clash where King David the Builder secured a landmark victory against the Seljuk Empire. Celebrated by historians as the “Miraculous Victory,” this triumph effectively catalyzed the Georgian “Golden Age.” Today, the site—marked by monumental stone swords and pillars—remains a place of profound national pride, drawing crowds annually on August 12 for the traditional holiday of “Didgoroba.”
