Nintendo is gearing up for “MAR10 Day” with a celebration that goes far beyond the recent arrival of Virtual Boy classics on Nintendo Switch Online. Fans can expect significant price drops on a curated selection of Mario titles for both the Nintendo Switch and the next-generation Switch 2, available through the Nintendo eShop and various major retailers.
The promotion highlights essential experiences like Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury and Super Mario Odyssey—titles that have reportedly heavily influenced the creative direction of Illumination’s upcoming The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Notably, this event also features the very first discount for a Switch 2 title: Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV.
Physical editions of these celebrated games will be discounted from March 8 through March 14 at participating storefronts, including Nintendo’s flagship U.S. locations and the My Nintendo Store. If you prefer a digital library, the Mario Day deals are already live on the Nintendo eShop; however, make sure to finalize your purchases before the digital sale concludes on March 15 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

While recent hits like Super Mario Bros. Wonder are absent from this year’s list, the games included represent some of the most critically acclaimed entries in the franchise. The imaginative Super Mario Odyssey continues to be a gold standard for 3D platformers, while Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury offers a masterful blend of linear co-op stages and experimental open-world gameplay. Additionally, the remakes of Super Mario RPG and Mario vs. Donkey Kong serve as excellent modern gateways to the series’ beloved 16-bit and handheld legacies.
