Ninja Gaiden III, Ikari Warriors, and R.C. Pro-Am II Join Nintendo Switch Online Classics Library

Nintendo has expanded its NES retro catalog on Nintendo Switch Online with three exciting additions: Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom, Ikari Warriors, and R.C. Pro-Am II. Active subscribers can dive into all three games right now.
Originally launched in 1991, Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom served as the trilogy’s dramatic swan song on the NES. With its arrival, fans can now experience the entire foundational Ninja Gaiden saga directly on the Switch. Similarly, the addition of the 1992 sequel R.C. Pro-Am II completes the iconic racing duology on the platform, following the original game’s addition to the service in early 2024.
Rounding out today’s drop is the classic run-and-gun shooter Ikari Warriors. Debuting in arcades back in 1986 before receiving its North American NES port in 1987, this legendary title played a pivotal role in publisher SNK’s early international success, establishing itself as one of the highest-earning arcade experiences of its era.
