New season of “Ted Lasso” sets record on Apple TV
The premiere of the fourth season of the hit comedy series Ted Lasso has achieved spectacular success. With a staggering 296.6 million minutes viewed, the debut episode has officially set an all-time viewership record for the Apple TV streaming platform.
In these fresh episodes, soccer coach Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) makes his return to Richmond, taking on the role of mentor for a second-division women’s team. The season sees the return of fan-favorite cast members, including Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, and Brett Goldstein, among others.
Critics have warmly embraced the new season, which currently holds an impressive 90% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
