Nintendo may have a new reason for concern as Aniimo, a fresh free-to-play contender, prepares for its debut on PC and Xbox.
The project has already caught the eye of NVIDIA, which selected the title to showcase the capabilities of its latest RTX hardware. A newly released trailer demonstrates Aniimo running on an RTX 5070 at 4K resolution with ultra settings, featuring DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation. Even without relying on upscaling, the game reportedly maintains a consistent 75 FPS.
Recent beta testing sessions have sparked immense enthusiasm among Pokémon fans and enthusiasts of the monster-taming genre. Players have lauded the depth of the mechanics, with some early impressions suggesting that Aniimo could realistically challenge Pokémon’s long-standing dominance. A definitive release date has not yet been established.
