Paramount Pictures has slated the next installment in the Longlegs horror franchise for release on January 14, 2028, according to media reports.
Nicolas Cage is set to reprise his chilling role as the serial killer, with Osgood Perkins returning to both write and direct. While specific plot details remain under wraps, insiders suggest the upcoming film will not be a direct sequel but will instead expand upon the universe established in the original.
The original Longlegs premiered in 2024, earning a global box office total of $128 million. The story followed FBI agent Lee Harker (Maika Monroe) as she pursued a deranged occultist linked to her own troubled past. The film garnered widespread critical acclaim, holding an 85% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
