New Denuvo Hacker Claims First DRM Bypass Success

The protection for EA Sports FC 27 did not hold out for very long.

Denuvo lawyers recently decided to take action against the well-known hacker voices38, who managed to crack the protection in various projects ranging from modern releases to older titles. Although voices38 stated at the time that “everything is fine,” there has been no news or new cracks from them for a long time.

While voices38 is hiding somewhere or quietly preparing a new crack, another hacker has appeared who claims to have successfully bypassed Denuvo in the new installment of the soccer simulation franchise, EA Sports FC 27.

A hacker known as IskoV is behind the EA Sports FC 27 protection bypass. The administration of a specialized hacking forum published his crack after initial tests, but extensive testing has not yet been conducted. This hacker is currently a dark horse, and time is needed for a full verification.

EA Sports FC 27 was released in late September of this year on PC and various consoles: PlayStation 4 (PS4), PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. This installment of the franchise has traditionally been hit with negative reviews on Steam, where players point out technical problems and a small amount of innovations, or even a complete lack of them. Nevertheless, this does not prevent the game from regularly appearing at the top of the Steam sales charts.
