Players are expected to revisit the iconic mansion.

Capcom is already known to be working on an expansion for Resident Evil Requiem. However, the developers had not revealed any details about the upcoming DLC until recently.

Franchise fans focused their attention on an interview with writer Haris Orkin. During an event, he accidentally let slip details about the DLC story, as the developers are expected to expand on Spencer’s storyline:

Spencer has his own story arc in Resident Evil Requiem […] and in the DLC you will learn even more about it. I probably shouldn’t have said that.

Well-known insider Dusk Golem, who has a mixed reputation, has also joined the discussion. He has been proven right in many aspects regarding Resident Evil Requiem, which has led some players to pay closer attention to his statements.

He reiterated what he had stated previously: the Resident Evil Requiem expansion is supposedly planned for release in late 2027.

The Resident Evil Veronica remake is currently in active development. It was officially stated that the game is intended for release in 2027. According to Dusk Golem, the developers “were targeting a first-quarter release.”

Dusk Golem also mentioned that work is underway on a remake of the original Resident Evil. The Arklay (Spencer) mansion is allegedly being used in both the DLC and the remake, which is why a great deal of effort is going into accurately recreating the iconic location.
