Kadokawa Reveals Creators and New Poster for Rebuild World Anime Four Years Later
Kadokawa has revealed a new poster for the Rebuild World anime adaptation and announced its main production crew, following an initial announcement in 2023 after which the project went dark for a long time.
Animation will be handled by studio Raging Bull, which previously assisted with Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Blue Lock, The Elusive Samurai, and Fire Force. Shingo Uchida is directing the series, Tsukasa Sakurai serves as chief director, and Naoki Tozuka is in charge of series composition.

Rebuild World takes place amid the ruins of a highly advanced civilization where hunters retrieve valuable technologies of the past while facing ancient security systems and rogue biological weapons. One such hunter is Akira, an orphan from the slums who hopes to escape poverty through this work. During an expedition, he encounters Alpha, a mysterious artificial intelligence in the form of a woman. She offers to train and support the young man in exchange for completing a special mission.
The anime is based on the light novel of the same name by Nahuse with illustrations by Gin. Despite sharing these new production details, Kadokawa has not yet announced a premiere date.
