New Cameron Diaz Film to Be Released in December
Netflix has officially confirmed the release date for its upcoming comedy starring Cameron Diaz. The film, titled Bad Day, is set to debut on the streaming platform on December 11.
Alongside the announcement, the first stills from the movie have been unveiled. Diaz portrays a single mother navigating an increasingly chaotic day; despite the mounting obstacles in her path, she remains determined to honor a promise made to her daughter.
Bad Day is directed by Jake Szymanski (known for Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates and Jury Duty), with a screenplay penned by Laura Solon (Office Christmas Party). The ensemble cast joining Diaz includes Mark Duplass (Togetherness), Ed O’Neill (Modern Family), and Danielle Brooks (A Minecraft Movie), among others.
This marks another collaboration between Diaz and Netflix; in 2025, she ended her hiatus to star in the streamer’s action feature Back in Action alongside Jamie Foxx.
