Netflix Unveils Trailer and Poster for Season 2 of the Lara Croft Animated Series

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is set to return with a second — and final — season.

Netflix has released the first trailer for the second season of the animated series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft.

In the upcoming season, Lara Croft teams up with her friend Sam Nishimura to recover stolen African Orisha masks. According to the official synopsis, these artifacts contain an ancient, almost divine power that cannot be explained by reason.

Tasha Huo remains the executive producer and writer of The Legend of Lara Croft, and animation duties are once again handled by Powerhouse Animation.

The second season premieres on December 11. It was previously announced that this will be the series’ concluding season, so viewers should expect a resolution to this iteration of Lara Croft’s story.
