Netflix to Release Documentary Series About Matthew Perry
Netflix has announced a new docuseries titled “The One About Matthew Perry.” This three-part project is set to premiere on October 27, marking the third anniversary of the passing of the beloved “Friends” star.
The production team promises to share “fresh, intimate insights into his personal struggles, while honoring his unwavering authenticity and his dedicated advocacy work.”
Perry passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 54. His death was attributed to the acute effects of ketamine. In the aftermath of the tragedy, Kenneth Iwamasa, the actor’s former assistant, was sentenced to three years in prison for his role in the incident.
