Need for Speed Carbon Reaches Android as Experimental Fan-Made Port
A developer who goes by codepdbh has released an experimental Android port of Need for Speed Carbon. The port is based on a recompilation of the Xbox 360 version, and the list of unofficial mobile adaptations keeps growing.
For graphics, the developer used the engine from the fan project NFSMW Android Evolved.
According to the author, the game runs at around 60 FPS at 1080p on a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Brief stutters still occur during races.
The port also includes touch controls with adjustable on-screen button layouts, along with Bluetooth gamepad support. Players can choose the resolution and a frame rate limit in the settings, but stability at values above 60 FPS has yet to be tested.

To run the port, players need Android 8.0 or newer, a 64-bit processor, and their own copy of the European Xbox 360 version of Need for Speed Carbon.
