Marvel Rivals Developing Large-Scale PvE Battle Pitting 50 Heroes Against Thanos and His Army
Marvel Rivals will add a 50-player PvE mode on October 24 as part of the Path to Doomsday event. Heroes led by Iron Man will team up against Thanos and his army in a fight for the fate of the universe.
In the event’s story, Thanos has taken possession of the Infinity Gauntlet, and the Avengers must stop him. Up to 50 heroes can join Iron Man to keep Thanos from making his final snap.
NetEase is preparing a recreation of the large-scale battle from the film Avengers: Endgame. Judging by the gameplay, the fight looks set to be total chaos, despite the developers’ earlier attempts to reduce the clutter on the battlefield.
Besides the battle, players can expect interactive activities in Times Square. The new trailer also pays tribute to the film’s memorable music.
