The Finals Adds Free-for-All Mode and New Abilities
The Finals has received the Prime Time update, which adds a new Saboteur playstyle with the Mimic Device, Translocator, and True Sight abilities, along with a Solo Showdown mode. The update also includes a reworked destruction system and updated arenas.
Embark added the new abilities for the Light class. Mimic Device lets players disguise themselves as objects in the environment, while Translocator lets them swap places with those objects. True Sight shows opponents through walls, which helps players set up a stealth attack or an ambush.
In Solo Showdown, every participant fights for themselves. Twelve players go through three fast-paced rounds with random mini-modes, and the last one to survive wins.
Prime Time is available now. The new mechanics are intended to make the game’s chaotic fights even more varied.
