While the bittersweet echoes of the My Hero Academia series finale are still fresh, fans have already been granted a reason to celebrate. During the Jump Festa 2026 convention—Shueisha’s premier annual event for manga and anime—producers unveiled a brand-new special installment titled “More.” Because the original anime conclusion didn’t fully integrate the epilogue from Kōhei Horikoshi’s 42nd manga volume, this upcoming episode will adapt the significant bonus chapter set eight years after the Class 1-A students graduated from U.A. High. “More” is slated to arrive on Crunchyroll on May 2, 2026.

The franchise took center stage at the Jump Super Stage on December 20, utilizing the platform to reflect on its massive ten-year legacy. Since Kōhei Horikoshi first launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump back in 2014, the series has transformed into a global juggernaut. The anime adaptation, which debuted in 2015, played a pivotal role in cementing its status as a cornerstone of modern pop culture.

The presentation also treated the audience to a stirring new promotional trailer for the final season, aptly titled “The Story of How We All Became the Greatest Heroes.”

Beyond the “More” special and the retrospective tributes, the 10th-anniversary festivities will include a worldwide concert tour beginning in 2026. The panel also debuted a fresh commemorative logo and a teaser visual, hinting that the new year will be packed with additional milestones and events for the fandom.

For enthusiasts of My Hero Academia, this news arrives as an ideal holiday gift. Just as it seemed time to bid a permanent farewell to Deku and his peers, this new chapter offers one more chance to witness the evolution of the world's greatest heroes.
