Monster Hunter Stories 3 Follows in Resident Evil 9’s Footsteps — The Problem Isn’t Just Denuvo but Also the High Price

Capcom has confirmed that the role-playing adventure Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will ship with Denuvo protection. The system requirements and pricing for each edition have also been disclosed.

It was recently reported that Resident Evil 9 on PC will also use Denuvo, and now the latest Monster Hunter Stories faces the same treatment. While this isn’t a horror game, it might unsettle players not just with monsters but with its Steam price — although the technical requirements are fairly reasonable.

Pre-orders opened on October 31 for three editions, all priced the same across platforms:

• Standard Edition — $69.99.
• Deluxe Edition — $89.99.
• Premium Deluxe Edition — $99.99.

Players who pre-order will receive a bonus: the “Blue-Scaled Queen” armor for Eleanor.
