Modder shows what a Grand Theft Auto IV remaster would look like with RTX Remix
A remastered build of the game that will never see an official release.
Modder Xoxor4D has unveiled a Grand Theft Auto IV modification using RTX Remix path tracing that dramatically upgrades the Rockstar title’s visuals.
The scale of the improvements is illustrated in a fresh comparison video from the MxBenchmarkPC channel. The footage shows the original game side-by-side with the ray-traced build at 4K and 1440p. NVIDIA DLSS and Frame Generation are employed to maintain performance.
The Grand Theft Auto IV RTX Remix mod is not yet publicly available. Those who want to try it before any official release can support Xoxor4D on Patreon.
