Modder Restores Cut Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Scene Connecting Franchise Games
Several well-known characters could be met in the epilogue.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced was released on consoles as well as PC. While some enthusiasts release various modifications for the game, others try to find remnants of content in the files that the developers did not include in the release version.
Judging by a discovery from a user under the nickname Sliderv2, Ubisoft Entertainment planned to add a scene to Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced that could have connected several games in the franchise.
The scene has poorly configured lighting, unfinished animations, clearly missing some objects, and some models are placeholders. It is assumed that this fragment was cut at an early stage of development.
Sliderv2 commented on the scene. Black Flag protagonist Edward Kenway returned to Britain and met in London with Miko, whom players know from another installment of the franchise:
Unused epilogue scene from Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, taking place in a London tavern, featuring Miko, the leader of the British Brotherhood of Assassins, who is later killed by Haytham Kenway in Assassin’s Creed III.
During the conversation, the characters mention the “death of the king” (George I died in 1727), and at the end of the scene, “the only one who responded to the call for help” approaches the heroes: Adéwalé. If this scene had been left in the game, it would have connected Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, Assassin’s Creed III, and AC: Freedom Cry.

Now the developers are preparing updates for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. The release date for the next update has not yet been specified.
