CDPR Releases The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Update 5.01
Developers have managed to fix the graphics.
Released on consoles and PC in late September, the remaster of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt faced criticism. Players noted technical issues as well as graphical bugs, and questions were also raised about the lighting settings and certain visual effects.
CD Projekt RED studied the feedback and began releasing patches. The creators of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt recently rolled out a major update, patch 5.01, which includes numerous fixes. For example, a series of graphical improvements were introduced, including refined glow effects, tonemapping, character lighting, ray tracing, and path tracing.
People online have started comparing the graphics and sharing feedback, and the updated version of the remaster has won over many users.
CDPR released an update that significantly improves the graphics. Now the game finally looks like a proper remaster.
Another player also published comparison screenshots. Some users noted that they can no longer tell the difference between having bloom enabled and disabled.

Community member CrazyDave48 explained that this is how it should be: “In previous comparisons, the difference seemed obvious because the bloom effect made everything look washed out, in my opinion. It looks like the developers fixed this, and now the difference between having the effect on and off has become very minor and barely noticeable—just as it should be.”

In addition to the graphics, the developers of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster also refined the user interface and fixed various bugs related to gameplay mechanics.
