Minecraft Turned into an RPG — Soulsteel Server Launched with Escape from Tarkov–Style Mechanics
The creators have chosen to present an alternative interpretation of Noxcrew’s gameplay.
Developers at Noxcrew recently launched the Soulsteel server for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. They’re evolving the beloved sandbox into a full-fledged role-playing experience.
Players are invited to delve into dungeons, craft and upgrade equipment, and steadily grow in power.
Time allowed for each run is limited, but by using the “Chrono Essence” resource you can upgrade the Timekeeper’s Lantern — this item grants extended dungeon time and lets you venture deeper:
Time is one of your greatest foes. In fact, it’s just one of many. The unknown trials hidden in these caverns will test even veteran adventurers: intricate puzzles, devious traps, and relentless hordes hungry for combat — any of which can abruptly end your expedition. […] linger too long and consequences will follow. If you fail to return in time you may become trapped and lose a portion of your hard-won rewards — all for nothing.
Setup instructions for joining Soulsteel can be found here.
