Meet the Game Radio Team

Behind every major update in our titles lies the collaborative spirit of a team dedicated to turning creative concepts into reality. In this special installment of “Meet the Team,” we’re excited to introduce the talented individuals who spearheaded the development of Game Radio—from the initial spark of an idea to its seamless integration into both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.

Game Radio Team

Mrazik – Producer

Mrazik

While working on our console development, I realized the audio landscape in our games was an untapped opportunity. They say “sound is half the picture,” and when you’re unwinding with a controller, a well-curated musical backdrop is essential for immersion. Taking on the challenge of developing this platform was deeply rewarding, and I’m immensely proud of the team that shared this vision. This is just the beginning for our radio platform, and I truly hope you enjoy the soundtrack to your next long-haul journey!

Damiana – Radio Producer & Audio Designer

Damiana

Before joining SCS Software, I spent five years as a sound designer and composer for Czech Radio. When the chance to lead the Game Radio project arose nine months ago, it was a dream opportunity. Music has a unique power to define mood and breathe life into a virtual world. I’ve taken creative ownership of our radio stations, from defining their sonic branding to curating the audio content. Working alongside such a gifted team has been a highlight, and I can’t wait to see how our community embraces the new audio atmosphere.

Zuzka – Junior Game Designer

Zuzka

I’ve been with SCS for nearly three years, transitioning from 2D graphic design to leading the ATS branding team, and finally settling into my current role as a UX Game Designer. For Game Radio, I focused on intuitive functionality and visual consistency across all stations. It’s been a fantastic experience blending my design background with UX strategy. Our team is incredibly enthusiastic about this project, and we have many more innovations planned for the future!

Raivis – Junior Programmer

Raivis

In my two years here, I’ve worked on various features, but serving as the lead programmer for Game Radio was a unique thrill. Building a new system from the ground up—while refining our existing architecture—was a challenging and fulfilling process. I’m eager to continue evolving this feature with the team in the coming updates.

Petr – Console & UI/UX QA Lead

Petr

Over my five and a half years at SCS, I’ve learned that a great feature lives or dies by its user experience. My work involved coordinating playtests, gathering feedback, and fine-tuning the mechanics to ensure everything felt polished. Seeing the community’s positive reception has been the ultimate validation of our hard work, and I’m looking forward to expanding the radio experience further.

Misha – Researcher

Misha

As a researcher, my primary goal was to define the “personality” and philosophy of our various radio stations. I love the challenge of taking abstract concepts and research data and distilling them into a coherent brand identity. Being a musician and gamer myself, this project was the perfect marriage of my personal passions and professional skills.

Ales – Junior Producer

Ales

Celebrating my first year at SCS, my focus is usually on Map DLC production, but I was happy to lend support to the Game Radio initiative. My role centered on operational logistics and team coordination. I believe this addition brings a wonderful, melodic layer to our simulations, and I’m proud to have played a part in its development.

Karina – 2D Graphic Designer

Karina

I joined the team as a student five years ago and have grown alongside our 2D design department. Crafting the visual branding for Game Radio was a refreshing change of pace. Each station required its own distinct atmosphere, and it was deeply satisfying to see those visual identities come to life as functional in-game assets.

We hope this glimpse behind the curtain gives you a better appreciation for the collaborative effort required to bring a feature like Game Radio to life. It is the passion and expertise of these individuals that keep our virtual roads moving forward.
