“The future of a sequel really rests with the audience,” Knight explains. “If the world embraces this film, asks for more, and our partners at Amazon are on board, it would be an absolute joy to expand this mythology. Crafting this story has been a career highlight, and the prospect of reuniting with this incredible cast and crew is truly exciting. Regardless of what happens next, I am incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved.”

The post-credits surprise

Fans stayed for the final moments were treated to a reveal: She-Ra is officially part of this cinematic universe.

“She-Ra is a cornerstone of Adam’s narrative and the wider lore,” Knight confirms. While the character is seen only in silhouette, model Lauren Saliu has since identified herself as the performer behind the brief cameo.

The search for She-Ra

While Saliu filled the role for the post-credits stinger, Knight indicates that a larger casting search is on the horizon. When asked if he had someone in mind, he teased, “I have someone in mind, but my lips are sealed.” He even shared a laugh over the idea of Nicholas Galitzine potentially donning a blonde wig for the role, noting, “He has certainly lobbied for it, though I think there might be a more fitting choice out there.”

A nod to Orko
