Major Steam Purge: Valve Bans Dozens of Adult Games with Trading Cards
Not everyone managed to secure these titles for their collection in time.
Steam users recently noticed that Valve has officially banned the studio Lovely Games, a developer that had built a dedicated following over the years.
The studio focused on various adult-themed titles, many of which featured Steam Trading Cards. Although these digital items have now been delisted from the Steam Community Market, they can still be crafted and traded between users who already possess them.
Major franchises like Joy Life, Yume, Adorable Witch, and numerous others have completely vanished from the storefront.
In total, roughly 50 games from the Lovely Games catalog were purged from the platform, leaving behind only their respective “Community Hubs.”
The removal extended beyond the base games themselves; free “adult patches” designed to unlock explicit content were also taken down.
