Pop icon Madonna was recently spotted on location for the upcoming season of the hit comedy series The Studio.
Filming took place in the picturesque setting of Venice, a city that holds significant professional history for the star. It famously served as the backdrop for her legendary “Like a Virgin” music video and was the site of her last major acting turn in Guy Ritchie’s 2002 film Swept Away.
Premiering in the spring of 2025, The Studio is the brainchild of Seth Rogen, who also portrays the lead character. The narrative follows the head of Continental, a fictional Hollywood studio, as he and his team of assistants navigate a series of satirical and absurd situations within the entertainment industry. The series has earned widespread critical acclaim, garnering several Emmy and Golden Globe accolades.
Beyond her recent guest appearances, Madonna has been meticulously developing a long-awaited biopic about her life and career for several years. While Julia Garner (The Fantastic Four: First Steps) was previously linked to the starring role, a definitive release schedule for the project remains unconfirmed.
