Machine Party sold more than 500,000 copies during its first week, according to developer Mike Klubnika and publisher Oro Interactive. The multiplayer game has also passed 20,000 concurrent players, with a particularly active audience in China.

The game launched on Steam with 15 short competitive minigames. Matches place players inside a mechanical arena where they must react to changing rules, identify safe positions and outlast the other participants.

The developers are continuing to work on smaller updates and bug fixes. Couch co-op is also planned, adding a local option alongside the current online multiplayer format.

Machine Party was created by Mike Klubnika and GDeavid. Its first-week sales mark followed a launch that quickly pushed the game into Steam’s most played releases of the period.
