Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP release on Switch 2 delayed at players’ request
November was expected to be the month Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP arrived on the Nintendo Switch 2, but the title has not launched yet. There’s no need to panic, however.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will not debut on the Switch 2 in the next few days, nor will it arrive before the end of this year. The developers opted to postpone the release at the last moment.
Dragami Games announced on X that the game is now scheduled for release on Nintendo’s new hybrid console in early 2026. The delay stems from a wish to accommodate players who asked that the title not be released as a digital-only product.
The developer and publisher have confirmed they’re preparing a physical edition. Dragami Games intends for the boxed and digital versions to launch simultaneously — which is the reason the Switch 2 release of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP was pushed back, to allow time to fulfill that plan.
