Leaked Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 Images Show Peter Parker Taken Over by Symbiote

Marvel presented the first footage from the second season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man to attendees at D23. While the teaser was not officially published online, a recording of the presentation leaked shortly afterward.

The new footage shows Peter Parker encountering a symbiote for the first time, setting up a dedicated storyline for the alien entity. Spider-Man is also seen battling the Lizard, Rhino, and other villains. His allies in the upcoming season include Gwen Stacy, Daredevil, and Finesse (Jeanne Foucault).

Alongside the preview, Marvel adjusted the release window for the animated series. Season 2 was previously expected in fall 2026, but the premiere is now scheduled for January 2027 on Disney+. An exact release date has not yet been announced. A third season is already in development.
