Leak Indicates Fable Will Feature Extensive Difficulty Customization
Playground Games’ new Fable will feature five preset difficulty levels alongside a dedicated mode with detailed combat parameter adjustments.
A screenshot from an early PC version of the game has leaked online, revealing a detailed settings menu. In addition to story mode and the standard Hero difficulty, players will be able to choose more challenging options such as Legend and Master. The main addition is a fully customizable mode that lets players alter individual combat mechanics rather than simply increasing enemy health.

Players will be able to individually adjust enemy attack power and stamina, aggressiveness, reaction times, healing potion effectiveness, and ability cooldown speeds.
The game will also include settings to simplify parrying, enable automatic block recovery, provide explosion protection, and preserve armor during unblockable attacks. These options will allow Fable to adapt to various playstyles.
