Konami Digital Showcase to Feature Updates on Three Games, Including Silent Hill: Townfall and Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse
Konami has officially scheduled a brand-new “Press Start” digital broadcast for the morning of Thursday, September 3, immediately following PlayStation’s upcoming State of Play event. Fans can expect fresh developments and deep dives into three major titles: Silent Hill: Townfall, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, and Rev. Noir.
The livestream kicks off at 8:00 a.m. PT / 11:00 a.m. ET and will be broadcast across Konami’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. According to the accompanying press release, the presentation will showcase the publisher’s immediate roster—highlighting Silent Hill: Townfall ahead of its September 24 release, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse leading up to its October 15 launch, and the newly announced RPG Rev. Noir. Viewers can look forward to a blend of fresh gameplay footage and direct commentary from the development teams.
Based on current programming details, the Press Start showcase will remain tightly focused on these three specific projects. Notably, the press release explicitly rules out any news regarding Bloober Team’s heavily anticipated remake of the original Silent Hill, which is still actively in development.
Set to launch later this month, Silent Hill: Townfall is an atmospheric first-person psychological horror experience crafted by Screenburn, the talented studio behind Observation. Meanwhile, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse brings a fresh perspective to the iconic side-scrolling franchise courtesy of Dead Cells developer Evil Empire, slated for release next month. Read our hands-on impressions from a recent preview event here. Finally, Rev. Noir remains the most mysterious of the trio, having only been briefly teased during a February PlayStation State of Play. Currently positioned as a PlayStation 5 exclusive without a concrete release window, Thursday’s broadcast may finally shed light on when players can expect to dive into it.
