Joe Jonas is speaking openly about the harmony he and former partner Sophie Turner have cultivated for the sake of their children. The transition to co-parenting, while challenging, has become a grounding force in the singer’s life.
During the June 2 episode of the Jonas Brothers’ podcast, Hey Jonas, the DNCE frontman reflected on the profound impact fatherhood has had on his personal growth. When asked how his role as a parent has helped him navigate difficult times, Jonas emphasized the sense of purpose his children provide.
“My children have truly given me a renewed sense of purpose,” Jonas shared. “When I’m working, the knowledge that I’ll be returning to my time with them keeps me motivated. Even in my darkest moments, a simple hug from my kids reminds me that everything is going to be alright.”
Jonas further expressed his appreciation for the collaborative relationship he maintains with Turner, the mother of his two daughters. “I’m grateful to have a co-parent with whom I can navigate both the good days and the challenging ones,” he noted. “Surrounding myself with a supportive circle has been essential in learning how to handle life’s pressures.”
Following their 2023 decision to end their four-year marriage, the pair prioritized a united approach for their family. Although their separation initially hit a rocky patch during legal disputes regarding residency and travel, the two reached a formal custody agreement in early 2024, ensuring a stable environment for their children.
Reflecting on this during an earlier appearance on the School of Greatness podcast, Jonas remarked, “My daughters have some remarkable women to look up to, their mother included. Establishing a healthy co-parenting dynamic is a cornerstone of my life now.”
Today, Joe Jonas continues to balance his evolving personal life—now including his relationship with Tatiana Gabriela—with his ongoing musical career, recently releasing his solo project Music For People Who Believe In Love and performing with his brothers.
