American actor Tim Curry has passed away at the age of 81, according to reports from TMZ.
While the specific cause of death remains undisclosed, Curry had been battling various health complications since suffering a major stroke in 2012.
Curry achieved widespread acclaim for his iconic roles in Stephen King’s television adaptation of “It,” the cult classic “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” the musical “Annie,” the mystery-comedy “Clue,” the thriller “The Hunt for Red October,” and a memorable cameo in “Home Alone 2,” among many others.
