Is Valve About to Announce Half-Life 3? Gamers Received Tips from Three Insiders
The wait for the franchise’s next installment continues.
So far, hopes for a “November announcement for Half-Life 3” have gone unfulfilled. Still, fans remain optimistic after three separate insiders offered fresh signs of hope.
Gabe Follower reported that Valve is allegedly planning to reveal Half-Life 3 for the first time before the end of 2025.
Another well-known community insider, Tyler McVicker, claims that development on HL3 is in its final stretch and that an announcement could come soon.
Tom Henderson also chimed in, saying on a podcast that a “major game” might launch in March alongside the Steam Machine:
Yes — a common theory is that Valve’s next big reveal won’t happen at The Game Awards, but will instead be a game released simultaneously with the Steam Machine, right? Like an exclusive? That would make sense. And if the Steam Machine does arrive, did you say early 2026? Or just “’26”? […] Most likely in March, because I’ve heard there’s a big game coming in March that I can’t name yet. Many people are eagerly awaiting it… We’ll see if we end up talking about it in the next couple of weeks.
