Into the Wind gameplay preview reaches 850,000 views in five days
The latest Into the Wind gameplay preview passed 850,000 views across hosted channels within five days of Future Games Show: Gamescom. The developer-guided video follows one complete delivery across the Santa Rosa archipelago.
Players travel with Ermes, a sentient vehicle that combines a motorcycle and an aircraft. Before setting out, they choose a contract and route while considering weather, terrain, fuel consumption and cargo weight. Air pirates can interfere along the way.
Completed jobs provide resources for upgrading Ermes. New parts open harder routes and additional opportunities. The game also includes character, home and vehicle customization, relationships with island residents and a story about the disappearance of Uncle Umberto.
The first public Steam playtest will begin later in 2026, with participants invited in several waves. Bloom & Gloom is developing Into the Wind for PC, and the Early Access release date has not been announced.
