Injustice 2 Sales Figures Disclosed as Game Nears Major Milestone
NetherRealm Studios has sold more than 9 million copies of Injustice 2 worldwide, according to series co-creator and studio creative director Ed Boon.
Boon shared the sales milestone on social media while replying to a user asking about earlier commercial data for the fighting game.

Injustice 2 debuted in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game continued the narrative established in Injustice: Gods Among Us, following Batman’s ongoing resistance against a totalitarian regime established by Superman.
Rumors regarding NetherRealm’s next superhero project have circulated for an extended period, though it remains unconfirmed whether the studio is developing Injustice 3. Earlier leaks suggested the team might step away from the Injustice brand to work on a different game set in the DC universe. The studio has not officially confirmed any upcoming DC titles.
