Indie Navarrette Promises to Portray Rogue Well in New X-Men Film
The star of “Obsession” promises to give it her all.
Indy Navarrette has discussed preparing for her role as Rogue in Marvel Studios’ new “X-Men” movie. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the “Obsession” star stated that she studied the character in detail and intends to put in every effort to bring her to life properly on screen:
“I am doing everything in human power because I love this character. I studied her. I want to portray her properly for myself, for Jake [Schreier], for what they want to bring to life, and for how I want to see her myself as a fan. I am truly doing everything—with an exclamation point.”

The new “X-Men” is being directed by Jake Schreier. Alongside Navarrette, the cast includes Adam Driver (Mister Sinister), Maya Boyd (Storm), Christopher Abbott (Professor X), Sadie Sink (Jean Grey), Kit Connor (Cyclops), Samara Weaving (Emma Frost), and Asa Germann (Angel).
Plot details are not being disclosed yet. The film is scheduled to premiere on May 5, 2028.
