In Search of the Witcher’s Path: Cosplayer Brings Ciri from The Witcher 4 to Life

Model Miroslava Basnak has prepared a treat for fans who miss the world of The Witcher. In a recent photoshoot she transformed into Ciri from the fourth installment of the series — once again ready to chase danger with her ash-gray hair and take on monstrous foes.

CD Projekt RED has not yet revealed a release date for the open-world action RPG The Witcher 4 on PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X/S, but the cosplay community has once again lifted the spirits of the franchise’s followers.

Photographer and retoucher Kristina Borodkina has published new images featuring model and makeup artist Miroslava “Mira Basnak” Basnak portraying Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon — widely known as Ciri.

Ciri is a Child of the Elder Blood and the central protagonist of The Witcher 4, who has endured the Trial of the Grasses. She’s a battle-hardened, free-spirited witcher with the ability to travel between worlds and through time.

The new entry is set several years after The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. In this chapter, Ciri will define her own witcher code and personal methods, follow her heart, defeat enemies and encounter fresh allies and adversaries.
