Ice Wall Season 2 Receives Full Trailer and Poster

The continuation of the webtoon adaptation by Kocha Agasawa will begin airing on October 1.

The creators of the anime The Ramparts of Ice have released a full trailer for the second season along with a new poster.

The video features the main quartet of characters: the withdrawn Koyuki, the outgoing Minato, the popular Miki, and the carefree Yota. The continuation will focus on their relationships, which became quite complicated by the end of the first season. Viewers familiar with Kocha Agasawa’s original webtoon are already warning in the comments that they are not ready for the emotional rollercoaster of the second season.

The Ramparts of Ice follows high school student Koyuki, who avoids people due to an unpleasant past and deliberately keeps those around her at a distance. Her lonely life begins to change after she meets Minato, a friendly and persistent guy who completely refuses to acknowledge the boundaries she has erected.

The team from Studio KAI has returned for production. Mankyū has once again taken the director’s chair, while Yasuhiro Nakanishi continues to handle the script adaptation. The main characters will once again be voiced by Anna Nagase, Shōya Chiba, Fuka Izumi, and Satoshi Inomata.
