It’s currently confirmed that GTA 6 will launch only on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC release is widely expected later, but players are focused on a different question: what about the Nintendo Switch 2? Insider Nash Weedle has offered an answer.
According to him, a Switch 2 version of GTA 6 is already in development. The recent delay has nothing to do with that port. Rockstar is prioritizing the launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and a release for Nintendo’s console is planned for a later date.
He stated:
“I can CONFIRM that work on a GTA VI port for SWITCH 2 is underway. I’ve said little about this because I’ve needed to be cautious until now. I can also add that the game’s delay is not related to this version, and it appears it won’t be available at launch.”
We’ll have to wait for official confirmation.
