God of War mastermind David Jaffe caught wind of these fan edits and didn’t hesitate to launch a scathing critique against the vocal detractors:
One commenter challenged the current industry trends, asking: “Why is there a persistent push from Western developers to make female characters look unattractive? While not everyone is a supermodel, they don’t have to be plain either. By that logic, why wasn’t Kratos depicted as out-of-shape?”
