To successfully locate conduit crystals in Subnautica 2, you will need to venture into the Alien Ruins, upgrade your gear, and identify reliable harvesting zones. While these crystals might appear elusive at first, they are quite abundant once you understand their specific environmental triggers.
Here is how to farm conduit crystals in Subnautica 2.

Conduit crystals possess a distinct, tall, silvery coral-like appearance. They exclusively generate at depths of 300 meters or deeper. Consequently, before embarking on your expedition, ensure your tadpole is outfitted with the initial depth module, enabling it to reach depths of up to 450 meters. Additionally, you must carry a sonic resonator to extract the crystal deposits.
These crystals thrive only in the vicinity of alien pillars emitting a blue glow, situated near the Alien Ruins signal—an area that becomes accessible after you have investigated the Tadpole Pens. You will not encounter them near the Lifepod.
Top Farming Spots for Conduit Crystals
Departing from the Alien Ruins, travel 350 meters southeast while descending to a depth of 300 meters. You are on the correct path if you spot a massive purple root along the seabed after covering about 220 meters. Scan the smaller alien ruin below; a glowing blue pillar on its left side indicates that conduit crystals are likely nearby.
Next, venture northwest toward the expansive crater featuring the Angel Comb at its base and a teardrop-shaped alien ruin at the center. Look east-southeast from the center point to find a second luminescent blue pillar resting on a ledge. Inspect the area immediately adjacent to this pillar, as well as the surrounding upper and lower ledges, to collect your crystals.
When bathed in daylight, the ideal farming spot appears as follows:
From that pillar, head north-northeast to uncover a third pillar with conduit crystals scattered across the seabed nearby, conveniently located next to a large purple root.
While a single deposit typically yields one or two crystals, bear in mind that these glowing blue pillars facilitate respawns over time. You can easily circle back to these zones whenever your supply runs low.
