Three New Games Join Xbox Game Pass on Launch Day

On October 8, three games arrived on Xbox Game Pass on their launch day: Echo Weaver, Neon Abyss 2, and Forever Ago.

The first new title is Echo Weaver, a metroidvania built around world exploration and a time loop. Players take on the role of the last Weaver, use time anomalies, uncover secrets, and try to break the cycle. Knowledge allows players to unlock upgrades, and each new attempt helps them better understand ongoing events.

Neon Abyss 2 combines roguelite mechanics and fast-paced run-and-gun gameplay with pixel art. The game introduces new combat styles, an expanded item combination system, and four-player co-op. The project previously spent time in early access on PC, where it received “very positive” reviews on Steam. Version 1.0 launched today.

The third premiere is Forever Ago, a narrative-driven single-player game. Following a tragic event, Alfred heads north in search of redemption. Players can expect an unusual road trip featuring picturesque locations, photographing memories, new acquaintances, and character stories.
