Hot Toys Adds Interactive Tech to Robocop and RoboCain Figures From Robocop 2
The RoboCain figure by Hot Toys has received a full LED display featuring three preset video clips, while RoboCop’s Nuke container now includes a built-in magnetic sensor that triggers the RoboCain screen when the accessory is brought near it.
Hot Toys has decided to upgrade some of its collectible items inspired by the film RoboCop 2. The company announced a large-scale functional update for the 1/6 scale RoboCop and RoboCain figures, introducing new interactive technologies.

RoboCain is now equipped with two interchangeable head and neck modules. One features a movable head, while the other has been upgraded from standard LED backlighting to a USB-powered full LED display.
Once the screen is turned on, users can switch between three preset video clips that recreate Cain’s digitized face alongside classic CGI footage of his distortion and destruction during his final defeat.

Meanwhile, RoboCop’s Nuke container has been built with a magnetic sensor. When this accessory comes close to the RoboCain display, it instantly activates the screen and starts video playback, creating an interactive effect during display.
