Miami Heat to Host GTA VI-Themed Vice City Night and Special Match Ahead of Game’s Release
The venue will feature a special Vice City-inspired design.
The marketing campaign for Grand Theft Auto VI continues to gain momentum. It was recently revealed that a basketball team will temporarily change its name to reference the Rockstar Games franchise.
The Miami Heat will become Vice City and play a special match on November 18, which is one day before the release of Grand Theft Auto VI. Organizers have already opened ticket sales, and the team will face the Milwaukee Bucks.

The game will take place at the Miami Heat (Vice City) home arena, the Kaseya Center. The event will feature a custom court design and a new version of the team uniform. In addition, the organizers announced “special activities” for spectators and others, with details promised at a later date.

The organizers also unveiled the “Vice City Collection” merchandise line, which includes various apparel and headwear featuring Vice City branding.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The developers have not yet shared any information about a PC version of the game.
