Horror Game Where Dolls Hang Announced With Island Setting
An island where dolls hang from trees serves as the setting for a new horror game being created by a solo developer.
Where Dolls Hang is a first-person psychological horror game inspired by Silent Hill, in which the player must explore an island with suspended dolls and uncover the mystery of human remains.
The investigation begins after dolls containing human body parts are discovered on a beach. To find out what is happening, players will need to explore forests and abandoned buildings, as well as travel by boat through swamps. The player must gather clues, solve puzzles, and record evidence on a camera.
Inventory space is limited, so players will have to craft healing items and decide when to engage in combat, run away, or look for a workaround. VHS tapes with recordings that reveal details about the events are scattered across the locations.
Where Dolls Hang is being developed by a single person. Individual elements of the game and story details may change during development.
