Helldivers 2 Receives Patch with Optimizations and an Exclusive PC Fix
The developers remain focused on the game’s technical stability.
The Helldivers 2 team has deployed update 4.1.1, aimed at boosting performance and eliminating known bugs.
Key fixes and improvements include:
· Resolved a crash occurring when quickly joining a freshly started match, as well as crashes related to certain stratagems.
· Fixed a rare issue where enemies would fall through the terrain.
· Addressed an uncommon crash that could happen during mission loading.
· Fixed a crash that could be triggered by rapid interactions with the weapon customization menu.
· Corrected a bug that caused some unused textures to be mistakenly loaded into memory on specific planet types.
· (PC only) Fixed an issue where textures occasionally displayed at reduced resolution even when memory was available.
· Optimized the destruction of various tree objects to preserve performance when large numbers of trees are destroyed.
