Hell Let Loose: Vietnam Comparison Shows Noticeable Difference on Xbox Series X and Series S
A performance comparison between the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions of Hell Let Loose: Vietnam shows that Microsoft’s flagship console maintains a steady 60 FPS, while the weaker system struggles to keep up.
Following the launch of Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, comparison videos emerged examining how the shooter runs across both current-generation Xbox consoles.
On Xbox Series X, the game targets an 1800p resolution, though the actual internal rendering resolution appears to be noticeably lower. Despite that, the console maintains a stable 60 FPS throughout gameplay.
The Xbox Series S targets 864p, with internal resolution likely falling below that target as well. While the console aims for 60 FPS, frame rates drop to as low as 47 FPS during certain scenes.
The comparison creators noted that these performance dips stand out even more due to the softer overall image quality and lower-resolution textures on Series S.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam launched on August 13, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S, Cloud, and PC, featuring Xbox Play Anywhere support.
