HBO Sets Harry Potter Series Release for 2026

HBO adapts the Harry Potter book series into a multi-season television show, offering a fresh take on the eight-part Warner Bros. film adaptation. HBO shared a new look at Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, an eight-episode debut season that re-adapts the first novel in the fantasy series. The lengthy trailer provides a comprehensive look at Hogwarts and the new live-action versions of Harry, Hermione, and Ron, alongside a batch of new images. This follows HBO’s first teaser for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone released in March.
